Southern Charm Wedding at the Saltwater Farm Vineyard

I am excited to share this southern charm wedding at the Saltwater Farm Vineyard with everyone. A love and passion for all things brought Michelle and Kyle together in their relationship. They kept their passion alive by carrying an aeronautical theme throughout the decor and in all of the details. They decided to get married at The Saltwater Farm Vineyard is located in Stonington, Connecticut. The property is bordered by the tidal marshes of the Wequetequock Cove.

The property started out as a small community airport. It closed during World War II and reopened in 2001. The airplane hangar was converted into an amazing wedding venue. The structure is an architectural marvel and opens up to the vineyard and open grass runway. That runway leads straight to the Atlantic Ocean. This is truly an amazing wedding venue for couples looking for something different with some class and elegance.

THEIR LOVE STORY

Kyle hails from Texas and wore the traditional Stetson hat and a one of kind pair of cowboy boots for the wedding day. The attire was fitting for Kyle and really added to the wedding day. I could tell immediately that Michelle and Kyle are deeply in love and have no reservations about letting it show. They felt comfortable being themselves and letting their individual uniqueness shine through on their wedding day. This was my first wedding at the beautiful Saltwater Farm Vineyard. I am so honored to work with Michelle and Kyle on their special day. The weather prevented us from photographing the bride and groom outdoors. We were able to explore all of the indoor spaces for their photos and were able to capture some great images. I wish Michelle and Kyle the best in the future. I know that they are well on their way to continuing a life long relationship with one another.
