Intimate Woodsy Engagement at Mead’s Quarry
Knoxville Wedding
This is the beautiful intimate woodsy engagement at Mead’s Quarry with Carolina and JJ. We stopped at Ijams Nature Center and Mead’s Quarry, where we walked out to the keyhole at Ross’s Marble Quarry. Carolina and JJ were such a fun couple to work with and loved to explore different locations during their engagement session. I am looking forward to their wedding day in 2019. Here is a first look at their engagement session.
Mead’s Quarry and the Ijams Nature Center
Mead’s Quarry Park offers a glimpse into East Tennessee’s quarrying past that provided pink marble used in local and national buildings and monuments such as the National Gallery of Art. The features include a series of rugged multi-use trails for hikers and bikers encompass scenic overlooks and gorges, historic cemeteries, rock bridges, and mature woodland and include Interpretive Plaza, a lake observation deck, the Historic Stanton Cemetery and 1.5 miles of multi-use trails.
