A Stunning Forest Smoky Mountain Engagement

Gatlinburg, Tennessee

I am so excited to share this stunning forest smoky mountain engagement session. Nathalie and Will elected to have their photo session at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We chose to explore Cades Cove area of the park. We took full advantage of the lighting conditions and the natural wooded environment of the Smokies. The backdrop made for a very romantic and intimate mood for their photos. We stopped at Cades Cove within the Great Smoky Mountain National Park for most of their session. Cades Cove is a broad, verdant valley surrounded by mountains and is one of the most popular destinations in the Great Smokies. The Cove offers some of the best opportunities for wildlife viewing in the park. You can often catch glimpses of white-tailed deer, black bear, coyote, groundhogs, turkey, raccoon, skunk, and other animals. The road leading into Cades Cove is a one way road that totals 11 miles in distance.
