Adventurous Foothills Parkway Engagement

Here is a first look at Faith and Jesse’s adventurous Foothills Parkway engagement session.  In this crazy time of having to deal with the Pandemic/COVID-19, we had to be creative regarding their engagement session locations.  The Great Smoky Mountains National Park closed to the public on the 24th of this month.   The closing limited all permitted photographers to the Foothills Parkway for sessions.   This was the first time I photographed an engagement session at the Foothills Parkway.  I am so thankful that Faith and Jesse were flexible and willing to try out this location with me.

Faith is from Michigan and Jesse is from Mississippi.  They chose to have their engagement and wedding in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  There was a lot of laughter and love between these two and for a short period of time, we all forgot about the pandemic and all of the negative news consuming the world.  It was a very nice break from the noise.  Thanks for taking a look.

Foothills Parkway (Great Smoky Mountains National Park)

The Foothills Parkway is a scenic roadway within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that stretches from east to west.  The Parkway is one of the most beautiful and scenic locations within the park and is known for its epic views and photo opportunities.  We took advantage of the amazing backdrop and captured some pretty amazing images utilizing the parkway overlooks throughout the entire stretch.  If you are looking for an epic spot for an adventure session, this spot should definitely be on your list.
